After a legal battle, which far exceeded the duration of the marriage, the basketball player decided to get rid of that 20-carat diamond ring, which he had given to her showgirl asking her to marry him. Humphries made a list of the jewels that he will put up for sale at Christie’s, the New York auction house. The engagement ring is likely to be part of the lot that will be auctioned on October 15. The jewel bears the signature of Lorraine Schwartz. Kim had returned the ring to her ex-husband more than a year ago. It is estimated that the ring could be sold for between 300 thousand and 500 thousand dollars: less than what was paid, 2 million dollars. It didn’t bring much luck.
