Burnish gold, zaffiri rossi e occhio di tigre rosso

From Ta Moko, the Stone Age cufflinks

Marco Ta Moko, a passionate explorer of primitive customs and traditions (though considered as such only by convention) and admirer of the culture of the New Zealand Maori, draws inspiration from the Neolithic Age for his new precious cufflinks and brooch collection. It is, in essence, an intellectual provocation. The result, in fact, is undoubtedly the fruit of the original creativity of the Venetian designer, who loves to repeat: you have to give a shape to yourself before giving a shape to the world. In short: philosophy in jewelry. What does all this have to do with the Neolithic? Simple: Marco Ta Moko’s new creation is called Toki Collection. And Toki is an ancient Stone Age tool used by the Maori to sculpt rock. In short, cufflinks and brooches have a story to tell.
