From Florence to London, via New York: Carolina Bucci calls herself a designer who “reinvents the rich heritage of his family.” Actually the jewelry shop Ferdinando Bucci in Florence was founded in 1885, and now this number is also the name of a collection of jewelery designer. But she don’t stopped at the tradition, and has preferred improve at the Fine Arts and Jewellery Design in New York. After she returned to Florence when her studies were finished, she worked alongside local goldsmiths to set off on a difficult road: weaving with threads of gold and silk, a work that has become a collection, her trademark. She would point out that she works with the same techniques and tools used by his great-grandfather but, of course, with a style that is all his own, as you can see from the images of some of his work, as Shield for rings or pendants to shaped keys, gold and white diamonds or colored.
