An international competition for designers who want to grow professionally. The prize is 10 thousand euros up for grabs with the Evolvea jewelry contest, promoted by a group of entrepreneurs who are looking for talents capable of responding through their creations of jewelry and accessories to the needs of increasingly sophisticated customers influenced by different cultures. The goal is to create a new jewelry brand to launch all over the world, from Eastern Europe to Russia to China. In short, wherever there is space. The project is certainly ambitious, but on paper the potential is there: the leader is 3C, a company specialized in the design and management of online commerce sites, then there is the Giovani Gioiellieri d’Italia association, operators in the sector such as D’amato Gems, seller and distributor of stones for Italian and foreign brands and Opera, producer of high-end jewelry, an indispensable holding company, the Swiss Duke SA and finally those who already sell jewelry and watches online, namely the e-commerce platform Lux Made In. Together they have technological skills, knowledge of foreign markets and represent the goldsmith tradition. To participate in the competition you must register online (www.evolveajewellerycompetition.com) and send the designs, even more than one but with separate forms, by July 2014. Attention, no piece can have been previously exhibited, nor seen or sold by third parties during the competition. What will happen to those rejected by the jury? The organizers have specified via email to the editors of Gioiellis that 3C is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of third parties.
