Lalique: anello Soleil de Gaïa in oro giallo con pavè di diamanti, spinelli neri, opali e smalto

Lalique Returns to His Roots

Many know René Lalique for his glass, but few know that he began his career as a jeweler. Now, with the opening of a boutique a stone’s throw from the original store in Place Vendôme in Paris, the French maison is returning to its roots: precious gems, 200 pieces of fine jewelry, engagement rings and wedding bands, recent collections (we have already talked about one of them, a selection of iconic pieces, the Mascotte cufflinks or the Gourmande ring, very versatile because it makes up with 2,500 pieces the chandelier that lights up the living room on the upper floor, while the lower one takes us back to the 1920s with its Art Nouveau style. Here you can see the brand new Soleil de Gaïa line, created especially to celebrate this occasion: from the Ancient Egyptian scarab with a triumph of pearls, diamonds, black spinels and cabochon opals that can be used in five different ways, to the stylized and very bright sun paved with diamonds and pearls to recall stylistic motifs from the golden age of Lalique in the Roaring Twenties.
