Three days dedicated to coral in Rome. “The secret of the jewel born from the seas and volcanoes” is the title of the event will take place from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November, jewelery Micarelli, via Frattina 104/105, Rome. The initiative is of Oro di Sciacca, Sicilian brand of coral jewelry. Those interested, can follow an exhibition centered on the natural charm of the creations handcrafted in the workshop of the brand of Sciacca. The story from the depths of the Mediterranean sea and a volcanic island emerged and sunk at sea dubbed the ‘Neverland’. The nature of the sub-fossil coral, thanks to the volcanic origin, has remained unchanged over the centuries to the present day. “The Sciacca coral has always been my passion,” says Joseph Conti, owner of Gold Sciacca. “It’s a material which is as unique and unmistakable as to become the icon of a culture and a territory: the Sicily. That’s how we learned the most ancient techniques of working with that creative expression is transformed into jewelry, unique and original pieces.”
