Big moves at Pandora. Anders Colding Friis has been appointed as the new CEO (chief executive officer) of the Danish jewelry company. He will replace the current CEO, Allan Leighton, from March 2015. Leighton will instead become co-vice chairman of the board of directors. Friis is currently the CEO of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, the world’s largest cigar and pipe tobacco manufacturer. “I am delighted that Anders Colding Friis is joining the company as the new CEO,” is Leighton’s official statement. Not only that: the current president, Marcello Bottoli, will also leave. The manager has announced that he wants to pursue his own entrepreneurial activity.
