Life in pink with Felicia by Bronzallure

/

Bronzallure‘s motto is “Moi, je vis en rose”, that is, I live in pink. A phrase that equates to a declaration of happiness, a state of mind that is more than ever necessary medicine in spring 2022. It is not by chance, perhaps, that one of the collections proposed for the new season by the Milanese brand is called Felicia. A greeting? Perhaps. But, above all, the collection proposes the main themes of Bronzallure, starting with the Golden Rose metal, patented from an idea of the creative director Albert Mouhadab. In essence, it is a copper-based alloy, which is subsequently plated with 18-karat rose gold, nickel and cadmium free.

In the case of the Felicia collection, metal is accompanied by multi-faceted natural stones, such as quartz, topaz or amethyst, which in some cases are combined with colorless cubic zirconia. The stones can be proposed individually or in a mix, for example amethyst, amazonite and rose quartz. The collection is quite large and includes rings, earrings and chains with pendants.

In the Mediterranean with Etrusca Gioielli

//

It is not known, exactly, from which area of the Earth the Etruscans came to Italy, a population that lived between the 9th and 1st centuries BC. The Etruscans mainly occupied an area that roughly corresponds to that of present-day Tuscany (but not only). In short, they are considered a Mediterranean people and have left many traces of their civility, including the introduction of the stone or brick arch in architecture. The idea that the Etruscans are the grandparents of Mediterranean culture is the basis of the Etrusca Gioielli brand, an idea of the Milanese group Milor, which also promotes other brands such as Bronzallure or Albert M.

In short, Etrusca Gioielli wants to combine the concept of affordable jewelry with that of made in Italy, with rings, bracelets and earrings in 18-karat gold plated metal (or in some cases even with platinum) and semi-precious gems, such as turquoise, quartz, moonstone or sponge coral (a variety of coral with a pitted surface) or pearls. In all, five collections are currently available: Cruise, Delight, Mirage, Moneta, Mosaico, Velvet, Mia.

It is a bronze ennobled alloy, particularly suitable for use in the goldsmith, jewelery or costume jewelery industry. Developed with the expertise of the University of Padua, this alloy, according to the patent, “allows for an improvement in the characteristics and final results of the finished product”. The alloy is mainly composed of copper (over 90%), to which up to 8-9% tin is added: a metal that adds good mechanical characteristics and great resistance to corrosion. About 3%, on the other hand, is silver. The metal is then plated with 18-karat gold.

Bronzallure pink and green

//

The world is getting greener and jewelry is adequate. Diamonds and gold are increasingly monitored to ensure a green origin. And there are those who bet everything on jewels that have a green stone: for example, malachite. The Milanese brand Bronzallure also made this choice, offering a series of jewels in rose gold accompanied by green striped stone.

Anello toi et moi
Anello toi et moi

Its color, which varies between shades of light and dark green, up to almost blue, has enchanted many designers. It is usually a stone used in jewelry especially as a cabochon, but in this case Bronzallure has provided flat and round surfaces. And this is good, because malachite is not a particularly hard mineral and can be damaged if it is bumped or scratched on contact with sharp objects. In addition, it becomes effervescent on contact with hydrochloric acid: therefore, malachite must be kept away from corrosive products such as muriatic acid.

Bronzallure’s Pink Aurora

/

The Bronzallure Aurora collection: pink like the early morning sky ♦

The Golden Rosé is a particular alloy at the base of the creations of Bronzallure, brand of the Milanese company Milor. And it is the metal used also for the new Aurora collection, the fleeting moment that marks the beginning of the day when the sky has, in fact, a shade of pink. The alloy was patented by the company in collaboration with the University of Padua and includes 18-carat gold plating. The Bronzallure autumn collection, in fact, uses of the usual metallic material, which according to the Maison assures it has the advantage of being resistant to scratches and of not changing color with the passage of time.

The particularity of the Aurora collection is, instead, the modern design that includes a pavé of “certified natural stones”. Just like the sun rising at dawn, the surface of stones seems to progress in a slow progression on the metal. It should also be noted that all Bronzallure jewels are hypoallergenic, cadmium and nickel free.

VicenzaOro, among the news there is the farewell of Marzotto

The vice president of Ieg, Matteo Marzotto, leaves the company with controversy, while they preparing the edition of VicenzaOro January ♦ ︎

There are already the first changes for the next edition of VicenzaOro January. But at the appointment of the winter edition of the jewelery fair, controversy also shine. That can not leave the insiders indifferent.

A few days ago, in fact, Matteo Marzotto, vice president of IEG, a company born from the union of Fiera Rimini with Fiera Vicenza, has resigned from his position, in a controversy with the octogenarian president of Italian Exhibition Group, the very senior Lorenzo Cagnoni.

Da sinistra, Matteo Marzotto, Lorenzo Cagnoni, Ugo Ravanelli
Da sinistra, Matteo Marzotto, Lorenzo Cagnoni, Ugo Ravanelli, ad di Ieg

It is not a little good-bye, as Marzotto must be credited with having relaunched VicenzaOro, above all at a difficult time for the Italian economy. New ideas, dynamism and personal relationships of Marzotto were the recipe for the new face of the format, which was then successfully exported abroad. All this, however, does not seem to have been enough for the new management of the company. More than a merger between two partners, it is the sense of the farewell of Marzotto, it was a question of an OPA of Rimini on Vicenza. And for Ieg, whose goal is to be listed on the stock exchange, Marzotto’s leave is not a minor goodbye.

The distance had already appeared clear during the last edition of VicenzaOro September, in which Marzotto was not involved.

Matteo Marzotto, presidente di Fiera Vicenza (a sinistra) e Corrado Facco, direttore generale
Matteo Marzotto, ex presidente di Fiera Vicenza (a sinistra) e Corrado Facco, ex direttore generale

In any case, the Veneto entrepreneur did not use half-terms and denounced in a letter the lack of “institutional respect of the minority shareholder, too often ill-tolerated and kept on the sidelines, even on occasions of important decisions, such as that of assignment of the design for the enlargements of the exhibition areas, brought to the board by ad Ravanelli to things widely done and for mere disclosure”.
Marzotto’s letter also underlines what the experts have been saying negatively for some time: the hasty dismissal of the former director of Fiera Vicenza, Corrado Facco, Marzotto’s right-hand man and co-author of the re-launch of VicenzaOro.
“The way we look is practically opposite on everything, except on the goodness of the merger of the two fair companies and their listing on the Stock Exchange”, concluded Marzotto bitterly.

Maybe even to spread a veil on this epilogue not commendable, IEG begins to turn on the lights on the next appointment. Here are the news: Roberto Coin will present the new versions of the Princess Flower collection, Damiani the extensions of the D.Side, Eden and the iconic Belle Epoque collections. In the Icon area there will be Fope, Crivelli, Leo Pizzo, Tamara Comolli, Djula. A confirmation is also that of Alessio Boschi in the Design Room, in which he will also find the Parisian designer-artist Lydia Courteille, the Vicentine Mattia Cielo (for him a return) and Monica Rich Kosann. Confirmation also for Giovanni Raspini, Rue de Milles, Victoria Cruz, Bronzallure, Crieri. Cosimo Muzzano

A toast with Bronzallure

The rose gold color combined with sparkling white cubic zirconia: it is the recipe by Bronzallure for those who want to celebrate.
For Christmas, New Year, but also to a party organized the evening, we need two things: a bottle of white wine with bubbles (champagne or sparkling Italian wine, as you want) and jewels that are able to shine even with the lights low light bulbs, such as small flashes in the dark. And you know that to twinkle in the dark is really a feature of the jewels that combine metal with stones. This is the case of jewelery signed by Bronzallure: earrings, rings, bangles and necklaces which have the advantage of being offered at a very affordable price. Are metal plated rose gold with a patented system (called Unique Golden Rosé, which is the result of ten years of research), with the addition of pavé in zirconia white. The pink colored plating is, in fact, a distinctive mark of the Milanese brand, which is now distributed in 43 countries worldwide. The effect is very striking, but the combination of plating and zircons keeps the price on average between 100 and 150 euro. Margherita Donato

Preview: Bronzallure new collections

It’s already time for the spring-summer of Bronzallure. The young jewelery brand, born only four years ago in Milan, is preparing to market the new season in 2016 with a series of pieces that we present a preview. For the summer designers Atelier Bronzallure were inspired by an urban environment, with the use of semi-precious stones such as chalcedony, aquamarine milky and rose quartz. Rings, rose gold plated, are all made of natural precious stones and bright colors. The rings Mon Contrarié, for instance, use chalcedony, quartz and zirconia. Remember that the brand uses a special metal alloy, called Bronzallure, rosé hue: the idea is to combine the strength of bronze in a wet mixture in 18 carat gold. The alloy was produced with the help of the University of Padua, who has developed this process, and has also been patented (patent number 1415168). Now the brand that was founded on the initiative of the Milan of Lebanese origin Milor Group aims high and has booked a place in the next Baselworld. Giulia Netrese

The Bronzallure’s Bon Bon

Among the news to VincenzaOro September 2015 there are also jewels of Bronzallure, especially the rings. The idea of Milor Group, company from Milan, but with Lebanese origin, is to combine the strength of bronze in a special mixture with 18 carat gold. In short, a historic metal with a noble metal. The idea is born in 2011 with the help of the University of Padua, who has developed this original metal alloy. So exclusive that has also been patented. The result of the mix of bronze and gold is a metal from the pink tinge. The alloy is also hypoallergenic and nickel free. And here is the news of Bronzallure: the Bon Bon Bague are rings, but not only made with metal. They use chalcedony stone with shades ranging from delicate blue to pink to pale green. To enrich the rings are added zirconia or natural stones in pavé. The repertoire of Bronzallure you must add necklaces and bracelets, as Knots, Arrows, and Cocktail Rings collections.
