Unoaerre

Valentine’s Day with Love for Unoaerre

Hearts of the world, unite: Valentine’s Day is coming. Because, as always, on Valentine’s Day the heart is the sovereign symbol. The Italian brand Unoaerre also presents itself at the event with a collection that plays on this theme: Batticuore, to which some new features are added. The collection is made of 18k yellow gold, with natural diamonds, mother-of-pearl and semi-precious stones. The design is essential, based on the iconic shape of the heart.

For Valentine’s Day 2024, the Love capsule is added to the Batticuore collection, again in 18-karat gold, which uses the word-message on circular-shaped pendants added to very thin necklaces, rigid bracelets and rings in which they hide, in an almost imperceptible way, one or three natural diamonds. Furthermore, the word Love is set on a mother-of-pearl surface. The new capsule models are made in Italy and consist of thin choker necklaces, rings and bangle bracelets.

New Batticuore for Unoaerre

The heartbeat never stops when love is intense. And also when a jewelry collection is loved. This is demonstrated by Unoaerre‘s Batticuore (heartbeat) collection, which returns with new pieces in gold and natural diamonds. For the autumn-winter 2023 season, the heart-shaped elements proposed at the debut are transformed into rounds that alternate on the jewels. The heart, however, remains as a pendant in the bracelets. It’s not the only news. Alongside the 18-karat yellow gold, small brilliant-cut diamonds and numerous semi-precious stones also appear on some models. For example, amethyst, peridot, carnelian, presented with cabochon cut.

The Batticuore collection is made up of numerous chain bracelets, chain rings, with or without stone, rather long necklaces and pendant earrings with the round motif or with a semi-precious stone from which a thin gold chain starts. On the other hand Unoaerre, a company founded in 1936 in Arezzo, has a long history of manufacturing yellow metal jewellery.

Silver men’s rings by Unoaerre

In Italy Unoaerre is the leading brand on the wedding ring market: over 70% of the gold rings for weddings are produced by the Tuscan company from Arezzo. But Unoaerre has long been no longer just a brand that produces gold jewellery. In fact, the company has also expanded into the fashion jewelery sector. And, in accordance with the trend, it also presents a men’s line. These are silver jewels, with the idea of approaching a younger fashion-conscious audience.

Silver rings, together with thin chain necklaces and bracelets, are of the chevalier type, theoretically to be worn on the little finger, even if few do. The Unoaerre chevalier ring for men is available in three shapes: oval, square and rectangular, and in the variants in aged burnished silver, silver and onyx paste (black), lapis paste (blue), malachite paste (veined green) and turquoise paste (light blue with black veining). Necklaces and bracelets instead have layers of burnished Byzantine chain enriched with black enamels.

The Heartbeat of Unoaerre

All right, it is unromantic to remember it, but the heart of those who give a gift, perhaps a jewel, beats close to where the wallet is often kept. The two aspects are not separate: one may have the desire to give a jewel as a gift, but without excessive spending. This aspect has been thought of by Unoaerre, an Italian company specializing in gold jewellery, with its fashion jewelery collections which, however, do not give up on using the precious metal. As in the Batticuore (heartbeat) collection, which offers jewels with the universal shape of the organ button conventionally the seat of feeling.

Anello Batticuore in oro 9 carati

The Batticuore collection is made up of yellow gold and natural diamonds, but at an affordable price. The secret lies in the choice of the gold alloy, in this case 9 carats, which serves to contain the price of the jewels. For example, the gold bracelet with the inscription Love is offered at a price of 260 euros, up to a ring made up of many hearts in a row for 590 euros. In some pieces the gold is combined with mother-of-pearl inserts, without deviating too much from the average price.

Unoaerre on the pyramids

For centuries, people have built pyramids in different areas of the world. The largest pyramid by volume, for example, is that of Cholula, located in the Mexican state of Puebla. But the most famous are those found in Egypt, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, which is the only one of the ancient Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still left. The geometric shape of the pyramids, today, is instead used for much smaller objects, such as jewelry. The Piramidi fashion jewelery collection, proposed by Unoaerre, goes in this direction.

For some time now, the Tuscan company specializing in gold jewelry has also expanded its business to jewelry at more affordable prices, with the proposal of collections created with bronze and silver, less expensive than gold. This is the case of the Pyramids collection, which is made of silver-plated bronze or in a gold-colored version. The collection includes a Y-shaped necklace, a gourmette chain bracelet and ring, all with pyramidal geometric elements.

The snakes of Unoaerre

Poor snakes. These reptiles have a bizarre fate: they are generally hated by women (and also by men), although in the vast majority they are absolutely harmless. Yet, at the same time, women love them. But as long as they are in the form of a jewel. The snake that becomes a bracelet or necklace now also bears the Unoaerre label, an Italian company in the Arezzo district, which traditionally specializes in gold jewelery. In this case, however, the Unoaerre Snake collection is part of the fashion line. And, for this, the jewels are made of gilded bronze.

The Snake collection is one of the novelties presented for autumn winter 2022. The collection consists of a necklace, bracelet and ring in a beaten curb chain, with a snake in green and black enamel. The necklace, in which the green enamel snake becomes a clasp.

Wedding rings by Unoaerre

/

How do you draw something that is perfect? It’s simple: you draw a circle. The geometric shape without beginning and without end is also the one that, not surprisingly, surrounds the fingers of those who get married. The wedding ring is the symbol of the union between the two partners. It is a ring that is worn on different fingers, according to the culture and customs of a country, but which is common in most countries of the world. Unoaerre, a brand from Arezzo (Italy), has decided to reinterpret the wedding ring in three different ways.

Due fedi della linea Comoda
Due fedi della linea Comoda

The first proposal concerns Classic Wedding Rings, in 18-karat gold, they have characteristics of resistance to wear above the average of other gold jewels. These rings are available in yellow, white and pink gold, with or without diamonds. Another modality is classified, however, as Comfortable Faiths. In this case, the ring focuses on wearability, thanks to the roundness on the outside and inside of the circle. This type of ring, according to Unoerre, offers greater smoothness than classic wedding rings, offering greater comfort. In all models, the thickness and width of the rings remain constant regardless of the size, for both men and women. The third proposal concerns the Circles of Light line, which add diamonds to the gold circle.

Unoaerre in color with Holi

///

Holi is a traditional festival held in India, but also in other countries where there is a strong Hindu presence, and is also known as the Spring Festival or Festival of Colors. The festival of Holi celebrates the eternal and divine love of Radha Krishna and the triumph of good over evil. But it is also an opportunity to play and laugh, forget and forgive. The party lasts one night and one day and those who participate throw (harmless) colors with water guns and balloons. Play and struggle with colors occurs in open streets, parks, outside temples and buildings. Introduction necessary to explain the name of the Unoaerre collection called Holi.

The company from Arezzo (Italy), which is famous for its production of gold jewelry, chooses in this case a fashion jewelery style, which focuses entirely on shape and color. The jewels offered, in fact, are made of bronze dipped in gold, with the addition of colored shades of enamels that make the line very lively, as well as at affordable prices. A few examples: the earrings with a rose gold bath, pendant link and black and white enamel, are offered for 69 euros, the gilded bronze ring with light and dark orange enamel for 54 euros, the bracelet with a T-bar closure. 99 euros.

We are confident that in Vicenza we will reap the first fruits of the sacrifices made in this year and a half of restrictions given the good feeling of the market for the Italian product and the willingness of companies to get back into the game to return to business in person and safely.

According to the latest sample survey prepared for Federorafi by the Confindustria Moda Study Center, in January-March 2021 24% of the Italian companies interviewed reported an increase in turnover compared to the first quarter of 2020. And the sentiment of the sample sees 25% with a start of recovery already in spring 2021, 39% starting from autumn 2021. About half of the sample (48%) reports a renewed dynamism of foreign markets, United States, France, United Arab Emirates / Qatar on the others.

Other confirmations come from foreign buyers, who are planning their visit to the event. The VBI, Vicenzaoro Buyer Index, which periodically detects the attitudes of a representative panel of global operators, highlights in June that confidence in future business has more than doubled compared to last year. The propensity to participate in the fair in presence from the Middle East and North America, but also from Europe and Italy, is growing at the same pace. According to a survey by Confcommercio Federpreziosi, the participation intentions of retailers and operators are positive: 75% plan to return to the Vicenza pavilions to renew or expand the product range (33.2%), but above all to resume relations direct professionals with suppliers, customers, colleagues (41.7%).

Oroarezzo, the winners of Premier digital version

It is the year of digital fairs, given that almost all those scheduled have been suspended due to covid-19. But it is also the year of digital prizes, such as Premiere, a competition usually combined with Oroarezzo which is precisely one of the events that have surrendered to the pandemic. Premiere, which the organizing company Italian Exhibition Group has launched in an entirely digital capacity, has therefore decreed live on Instagram the winners among the 63 companies competing from all the main production districts of Made in Italy.

Voice-Vicenzaoro with 300 companies and many big names

Vicenzaoro has been suspended. Long live Vicenzaoro. Which, however, in September is called Voice. If the health emergency led Ieg (the company that organizes Vicenzaoro) to transform the format of the event by also changing the name, the companies in the sector have a strong need to show their production to buyers, that the appointment is called Vicenzaoro o Voice doesn’t matter. This is what can be deduced from the announcement that, in July, the companies that have chosen to exhibit their jewels at Voice-Vicenzaoro International Community Event (12 to 14 September) exceed 300.

Booth di Fope, VicenzaOro January 2018. Copyright: gioiellis.com

About 300 companies means a very limited drop of about 15% compared to last year’s attendance. And taking into account that the major fairs, not only of jewelery, have been postponed to next year, number of registration to Voice is a success, perhaps unexpected. In short, Vicenzaoro, ops, Voice has a strong attraction. The names that have already reserved their space also testify to this.

La Boule of Éclat

The silver, white or colored jewels proposed by Éclat: here is the Boule collection ♦

Éclat has come of age: in fact, it was born in Arezzo in 2001 from the meeting between Rosanna Natale, designer and creative soul of the brand and Fabrizio Piaggini, mechanical designer. The union between the inspiration and manual skill of Rosanna and Fabrizio’s technological know-how, allowed the two to undertake and give life to a business project.

Éclat, a word that in French means glow, specializes in silver jewelry. A ductile metal, as is the imagination expressed in the collections of the Maison, which manages to renew its proposal of jewelry with the proposal of a flurry of news every year.

For autumn winter 2019, for example, one of the new collections presented at VicenzaOro is Boule. The name suggests what is the basic form of jewelry: the sphere, declined with different colors and different sizes. The metal has a hammered effect, which is reminiscent of a handcrafted process and makes each piece of jewelery different in its details. They are many visible jewels and also offered in a wide range of colors, such as white rhodium, black rhodium, gold, rosé, ice gold and champagne.

Sustainability is the theme core of the new VicenzaOro edition (7-11 September) ♦ ︎

Jewelry, financial statements between gold and lead

Jewelery financial statements are not all gold according to Pambianco ♦
The 2016 was not a golden year for jewelery, but not too bad. A round of informal phone calls seems to indicate, however, that 2017 may close with a more positive balance. The wrist of the jewelery and watch sector is heard by Pambianco, a consultant specialist in the luxury sector.
In his analysis, besides certifying the bad moment of the watch sector (difficulties also witnessed in Baselworld), Pambianco put the budgets of the major jewelery groups under the lens. Result: some positive results, such as Pomellato, which thanks to the care and synergies of the Kering group increased revenues by 11.5%, Unoaerre, which grew by 7.9%, Damiani (+ 4.8%) or Morellato (+ 2.8%). Also, Chrysos, which also produces the brand Officina Bernardi, it has seen sales up by 5.4% to 56.3 million. But there are also significant decreases. For example, Asolo Gold, a specialist in chain production, saw revenue falling from 28.2% to 80.5 million euros. Among the famous brands for design, Marco Bicego dropped 4.5%, despite good performance abroad, at 47.4 million, while for Roberto Coin the decline was 4.7% to 46 million. Slight decline (-0.5%) also for Stroili Oro, bought by the French Historie d’Or group in the summer of 2016. Federico Graglia

Chains on exhibition

In Vicenza 80 jewels that have the chain’s protagonist ♦︎
There are chains that bind and there are chains that release. There are also chains that like. Those that are used in jewelery, for example, are the desired chains, especially if bracelets or necklaces become original, precious objects with a precise identity. Alba Cappellieri started from this consideration, perhaps, in treating the exhibition Intrecci Preziosi. The chain between function and decoration at the Jewel of Vicenza Museum (October 27, 2017-25 March 2018). Below the glass windows of the first permanent jewelery museum there are 80 chains that from the end of the eighteenth century have marked stages in the goldsmith’s manufacture.
“The chain, binds, supports, decorates, encapsulates universal symbols, alludes to the fascinating idea of circularity, a borderless or chronological or geographical ornament that crosses the history of costume as art, ornaments and of fashion, “comments Cappellieri, who is also a professor of Jewel Design at the Politecnico di Milano. “The chains traditionally have a dual interpretation: in the negative sense they are signs of human slavery, while in positively they represent the beauty and social prestige and as such have been represented by the greatest painters of art history to symbolize universal values such as honor, fidelity, love. ”
In the exhibition there is a selection of chains made in Veneto since the Renaissance, and pieces made both craftsmanly and industrially by important Italian goldsmiths such as Fope, Franco Pianegonda, Marco Bicego, Mattioli, Nanis, Pasquale Bruni, Pesavento, Pomellato, Roberto Coin, Unoaerre, Vendorafa Lombarda, Vhernier. And next to the Maison’s signature, there are the works of designers like Giampaolo Babetto, Francesca Braga Rosa, Emma Francesconi, Stefania Marchetti, Carla Riccoboni, Barbara Uderzo, Daniela Vettori, Alberta Vita.
The Jewelery Museum, the first in Italy and one of the few in the world exclusively dedicated to jewelery, is the result of Ieg’s commitment in partnership with the City of Vicenza in promoting the cultural universe of Italian jewelry and jewelry, which the Italian Exhibition Group is recognized as a world-class player thanks to the VicenzaOro International Event.

Govoni, New Moon in oro rosa, quarzo fumé, ametista, pietra di luna e diamanti.

Unoaerre, Alunno & Co e Alunno & Marcantoni.
