Unique jewels at the Museum

Nine unique pieces of great value: these are the jewels that symbolize the nine themed rooms of the first Jewelry Museum, which will be inaugurated in Vicenza on December 24. And it couldn’t be otherwise, given that they will be hosted in a site declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. In short, a worthy setting, thanks also to an installation designed to connect Renaissance art with contemporary art: from the ancient Palladian marble lodges, to the internal rooms, to the display cases, to the jewel, which becomes the trait d’union between yesterday and today. Each represents a concept: beauty, symbol, icons, design, future, function, art, fashion and magic. There are the cameos and corals typical of the Italian tradition from the private collection of the De Simone Brothers, one of the illustrious names in Italian jewelry, there is a very modern reference to Michelangelo, there are waste materials that become social design and also the idea of making an ornamental object also useful. Gioiellis has previewed them and is showing them to you.
