Qayten presents at Couture in Las Vegas bracelet and necklace inspired by the Center Pompidou in Paris ♦ ︎
The small but ingenious Maison of Bologna (Italy) Qayten has planned to participate in Couture with several newnesses. Here are two of them: Pompidou necklace and bracelet. But the inspiration of the jewels does not refer in particular to the former French head of state, Georges Pompidou, as to the Parisian museum that bears his name.
The Center George Pompidou, designed by architects Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano, is a work of art that contains works of art, a structure that cannot be forgotten. Qayten has transformed the surprising lines of the Center Pompidou into daring jewels. And, as for the Parisian building, the jewels are original sculptures, in this case to be worn. The jewels are made of 18 carat yellow or white gold and diamonds. But the innovative technical aspects are important: the use of an innovative gold flexible hose makes bracelets and necklace easily wearable, since they are elastic, so as to combine design and contemporary with fit.
