He calls himself Kardinal Offishall, which is a stage name. In reality his name is more simply Jason D. Harrow (Scarborough, 12 May 1976). He is a Canadian Rap musician, MC and record producer of Jamaican descent. And he has a passion for his big necklace. Kardinal is often called Canada’s rap ambassador and is probably the most popular in the North American country. He mixes soul, dancehall, reggae and rap in his compositions to create the most original sound possible. He didn’t give up the necklace even to participate in the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto.
