A small preview of the new collection that Antonini will present at Baselworld 2016. It’s named Syracuse. A tribute to the Sicilian town? Not exactly: it is a dedication to the father of geometry, Archimedes, who lived in Syracuse and in this old town developed those theorems that still bear his name and are used. The brilliant scientist and mathematician, also specializes in optics and mechanics, has allowed, after all, also the realization of the jewels such as those presenting Antonini: circles, ellipses, curves that intersect forming crosses and orbits. Fortunately for wear the jewels you are not required to geometry exam: you can simply admire the soft golden straight evolutions dotted with diamonds. The collection includes a cuff, but also rings of different sizes that can be combined together on the same finger at different heights of the phalanges, thanks to the larger diameter and narrower. Gold can be yellow or white, even with a fully pavé version. You can say: thank Archimedes. Matilde de Bounvilles
