It’s called Conte Diamonds, but in its catalog there are not only diamonds. Indeed, stones with other colors abound, from Colombian emeralds to tanzanite, from sapphires to rubies. Gems are, in any case, the focus around which the company’s activity takes place, an evolution born in 2011 from the family tradition, which has been operating in the precious sector since the 1970s. Conte Diamonds is also a company with two poles: it was born in the Naples area and has an office at the Centro Orafo il Tarì in Caserta, while the commercial headquarters and gemological laboratory are located in Milan. Furthermore, the company combines the production of jewels with that of the diamond trade.
The gem business is linked to contacts and partnerships with the operators of the Antwerp Diamond Exchange, but only with natural precious stones that comply with the principles of ethics shared by the Kimberley Process, which guarantees the origin of the raw material from conflict-free areas. Conte Diamonds jewels are completely classic, in the usual design that combines diamonds and selected colored stones, mounted on rings and earrings ready for the jewelery showcases. The Maison also has a younger line, Conte Prime, which offers more accessible jewels. Furthermore, Giuseppe Conte has launched a parallel activity with an original online shopping initiative with the PayBond company.
