A kaftan and the Ikat fabric used by the Uzbeks are the source of inspiration for the new collection by Lebole Gioielli, called Samarcanda. Seen at VicenzaOro, the pair of earrings is asymmetrical: it reproduces the shape of a kaftan, and that of an oriental building, or a camel, covered with a fabric dyed using a technique that involves tight tying in some parts to prevent the color from penetrating. The result? Different lights, shadows and transparencies depending on the movement of the wearer. Another novelty for the fall by Nicoletta and Barbara Lebole, who in 2010 amazed the world of fashion bijoux with these creations that combine wooden silhouettes, precious silks and symbols of jade and bone, are the fan- and lantern-shaped earrings, and a ring surmounted by a small diary where you can write memories, secrets, promises of love, available in the earring version, a continuation of the very first collection called Kimono. The price of the pair of earrings is 100 euros.
