The decorations recall the floral motifs of Paul Gauguin’s paintings from the Polynesian period: the new Noa collection, by Francesca Villa, is in fact a tribute to the French painter, to Tahiti and to uncontaminated nature. It includes rings, earrings and necklaces, in pure silver or in a warm and sunny pink galvanic, with cabochon or faceted quartz that transparently cover a design hot-stamped on a plate depicting monochrome stylised flowers. The image of which enlarges and ripples thanks to the reflections of the stone. If Noa, which in the Maori language means perfume, is inspired by the earth, Hina, which represents the moon in the same culture, is instead the symbol of femininity and spirituality. The hand-modelled metal frames softer and more polychrome designs created with the same technique as Noa.
