The original curves of Anaconda

Anaconda, Monica Rossi’s shop, turns 34. It started with a production only in silver with an essential and sometimes almost minimalist cut, when the term taken from the artistic movement of the Sixties was not so overused, until a creative metamorphosis that has smoothed corners and rounded lines. The fact that the inspiration is different from the past is already clear from the slightly baroque boiserie furniture and the jewels, which recall some typical workmanship from eighteenth-century goldsmithing, adapt perfectly: tiny “grain de sable” beads and diamonds or obsidian, chalcedony, beryllium but above all moonstone all cut in a rose, that is, a workmanship used a lot in the past that reflects light in a different way from modern modeling. Almost more opaque. Many jewels are commissioned, especially celebratory rings like the Poema, a wide gold band on which it is possible to have phrases or poems engraved.
