Papillon means butterfly in French. And the butterfly is also one of the most used symbols in jewellery: perhaps because it is a symbol of lightness, of joy, of spring. But, in addition to its symbolic meaning, the butterfly is also a decorative motif: its symmetrical shape lends itself to being represented as a pendant, on bracelets and earrings. And that is precisely what S’Agapò chose with the Papillon line, all based on the contrast between the brilliance of the steel, the roundness of the pearls and the crystals.
