A rainbow that sparkles colors, cheers and warms even the coldest winter. The Rainbow collection by Dolce & Gabbana, presented with the spring-summer 2019 collections, is a kaleidoscope to wear. Gold, flashes, colors and, of course, the variety of precious stones needed to transfer the rainbow palette onto bracelets, earrings, rings, necklaces.
Dolce & Gabbana have long are not only designers of clothes and with the Rainbow collection they show it even more.
In the work there are references to the baroque and the nineteenth-century goldsmith tradition. And, of course, lots of gems. For example, the collection uses two light blue, oval and cushioned Swiss topazes, two oval-shaped blue London topazes, two round and pear-shaped purple amethysts, three round and drop purple amethysts, a rectangular light purple amethyst, a very light purple amethyst drop, an oval kunzite, an oval pink tourmaline, an oval-shaped purple rhodolite garnet, a brownish-red cushioned rhodolite garnet, an oval cabochon essonite, a Madera oval quartz, a drop citrine, an oval champagne quartz, a round yellow beryl, an oval citrine, a drop-shaped lemon quartz, a round green tourmaline, two oval bluish green tourmalines, two oval and rectangular peridots, a cushion green quartz, two oval and round Sky topazes, a baroque South Sea pearl: all this to compose the necklace of the collection (price: 27500 euros).
