Cartier customers recognize it at first sight. Over the years it has changed style, color, graphic sign, yet Panthère has always remained the symbol of the Parisian maison. Not everyone, however, knows its history. And so, Cartier has decided to share it with all enthusiasts via Twitter and letters of the alphabet. Every day on the social network a post appears: the first was obviously represented by the letter A, as in Avant-garde, which published Louis Cartier’s drawings showing the back of a small watch with the feline’s spots in black onyx and diamonds. The next day it was the turn of B as in Broche, the famous brooch created for the Duchess of Windsor with a panther clutching a 152.35-carat cabochon sapphire. And if the E recalled the founder’s exotic travels, what surprise do the F, G, H… hold?
