A VicenzaOro presentato il Trendbook 2017+, la pubblicazione realizzata da Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting, osservatorio di Fiera di Vicenza curato da Paola De Luca. L’idea è quella di individuare i trend del settore con 18 mesi di anticipo rispetto al mercato. Il Trendbook è suddiviso per aree tematiche (gioielleria, orologeria e diamanti). Gli scenari previsionali per il 2017 comprendono Sophisticore, consumatore nuovo minimalista, che ama la semplicità, ma molto sofisticata. Il gioiello che ama il New Thinker è molto pragmatico. I-History identifica invece il profilo del consumatore The Digger (o The Retronaut) che guarda il passato. Una volta si diceva nostalgico. La magia, l’esoterismo, la ricerca dell’artigianalità e i simboli dark sono le tematiche centrali. Altro megatrend è Geo-Luxury che piace al Geonaut, una specie di esploratore del gusto, che ama un bazaar quanto una gioielleria a Jaipur. Altro consumatore trendy individuato è The Illusionist, espressione del megatrend Digital Hypnosis. Questo tipo ha una forte attenzione al mondo della tecnologia. Insomma, un geek che non disdegna il lusso.
