In case you have a few million euros in the bank that you don’t know what to do with, keep in mind that the mining giant Argyle has announced three ultra-rare red diamonds, and more. These are extremely rare stones: including a 1.56-carat I2 red fancy diamond, nicknamed Argyle Phoenix. “Since mining began in 1983, only six diamonds have been certified as Red Fancy by the Gemological Institute of America and have been presented for sale,” announced Argyle director Josephine Johnson. “Having three of these red diamonds is really special.” Furthermore, for the first time in eight years, there is also a 3.02-carat diamond, a fancy intense orange-pink, called Argyle Imperiale. Other notable stones presented by the mining team include Argyle Seraphina, 2.02 ct. fancy intense purple-pink, B2 clarity; Argyle Aurelia, 1.18 ct. fancy intense purplish-pink oval, SI2 clarity; Argyle Dauphine, 2.51 ct. fancy intense radiant pink, SI2 clarity; Argyle Celeste, a 0.71 ct. dark grey-blue heart pattern, VS1 purity.
