But where does Maurizio Merenda, the man who leads Stroili, want to go? After opening in Russia a couple of weeks ago, it is now expanding again in Italy with the opening of a single-brand store in Cagliari. «The objective is to strengthen Stroili’s presence in the main historic centers of the peninsula with boutiques that reflect the maison’s varied universe of jewelery and watches at affordable prices», is the comment of Merenda, who is CEO of Stroili Oro Group . The one in Cagliari is part of the series of openings planned for 2013 and adds to the distribution of the brand’s boutiques, present in the shopping streets of Italian cities such as Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Corso Buenos Aires in Milan. But that’s not all: Stroili has signed an agreement with the Coin department store chain where it will debut with dedicated corners: 12 new openings planned for 2013. In addition to the Coin corners in Milan, in Corso Vercelli and Piazza Cantore, there will be those of Rome, in Piazzale Appio and in the warehouses of Brescia, Verona, Bologna, Genoa, Catania, Naples, Como and Treviso. The first corner of 25 square meters, moreover, has already debuted at Coin in Mestre with the spring-summer 2013 collections.
