Sicis has gained fame with the technique of micro-mosaic: tiny pieces patiently lined up to form watches or jewelry. He not at home is based in Ravenna, where are some of the world’s most beautiful Byzantine mosaics. Now Sicis adds to a its line of jewelry a necklace unique: Quetzal. Is the name of a bird with long feathers (sometimes longer than 1 meter) colorful, emerald green, blue and scarlet. Revered and protected by the ancient populations in Central and South America, the quetzal is still a symbol of liberty and independence. In the case of the necklace, the long feathers also give a sense of lightness, thanks to a machining of more than one hundred hours of micro mosaic. The necklace is in gold 750 ‰, embellished with 15.11 carats of diamonds and 10.15 carats of tanzanite. But fortunately there is no danger that you run away: despite the feathers it is not able to fly. Cosimo Muzzano
