A snake that sheds a 60-carat skin. Bulgari celebrated its 130th anniversary with this necklace set with fancy-cut diamonds. The necklace is also adorned with a 12.16-carat pear-cut diamond. It is certainly a jewel worthy of the anniversary. The Italian fashion house now under the umbrella of the LVMH group has become a legend since the 1940s and snake-shaped jewelry is one of its distinctive features. This diamond necklace was presented on March 20 in Rome, in the new store on Via Condotti, re-proposed under the supervision of architect Peter Marino. Bulgari spokesperson Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was present, of course, and showed off the jewel for the occasion.
