Art and jewelry. Rings and bracelets, necklaces and brooches that are small works of art: for enthusiasts the capital for the next few days is Milan. Artistar, in fact, has organized an exhibition of contemporary jewelery which summarizes the trends of trendy jewellery. Nice play on words, right? Because, like all artefacts in which design and manual skill, craftsmanship and industry, value and ideas combine, jewels also evolve and are influenced by contemporary artistic sensitivity. An evolution that has never ended but which, in particular, has been felt more since the beginning of the twentieth century, when jewels became part of the large family of not only goldsmith but also artistic creations. And thus we arrive at jewels designed by Dalì, Braque, De Chirico or Calder. Artistar Jewels Exhibition offers an exhibition of unique pieces: over 200 pieces including bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings, brooches. All summarized in a volume «Artistar Jewels» (Fausto Lupetti Editore).
