Being on the thorns (Spine in italian) is not pleasant, but with the S written in capital letters it can become interesting. Spine, in fact, is the name of a patented system (in 70 countries in the world) introduced by Farnese Gioielli. The brand, born in Rome in 2012 on the initiative of designer Barbara Polli and Alberto Serraino, has conceived the Spine system: a pavé of interchangeable precious stones that have the characteristic of having a universal size to match any size of ring or cuff. In short, an ingenious design. After using the Spine module with gold and precious stones, Farnese adapts the system to a more easy jewelry line, called Share your smile.

The sharing to which the name refers is that of the different coatings with which you can change the color of rings and bracelets in silver, but also a non-profit association Operation Smile. For 170 euros, for example, you get a set of silver base ring, with two bands of white and black anallergic leather to be applied as desired, while for 160 euros you buy the corresponding earrings. It should be emphasized that jewels are offered with a “lifetime warranty”, a sign that the possibility of changing the color of the coating is quite safe.
