Freywille was founded in 1951 in Vienna by the artist Michaela Frey, she had a virtuous use of enamels. At the beginning the production was been focused on decorative objects in enamel, later came the jewelry. Obviously, then, in the city that was capital of arts in Central Europe, a company that has a similar origin respects the artistic vocation. Michaela Frey has found the ideal partner in Friedrich Wille: to her the artistic direction, to him the trade. Half a century later, in Vienna Freywille it is still synonymous with art combined with the jewelry. So much so that in the house logo appeared suffix «Pure Art». Today, led by Simone Grünberger-Wille, the Viennese company offers collections, not only jewelry, inspired by famous painters. He could not miss Gustav Klimt, one of the most famous Viennese artists of the so-called Viennese Secession, and inspiration for lovers, thanks to his painting called The Kiss. The decorative motifs that appear on Klimt paintings are used to a collection of jewelry with gold plating and colored enamels.
