She was born in Hong Kong, she grew up in Macau, but she works in London: a brief history of Sarah’s life stages it can already indicate what is the difference from other designers. A life balanced between East and West could only reflect a capacity to go beyond the fences, cages where they often end designers’ ideas. A VicenzaOro January, Sarah was present in the area dedicated to 12 excellent authors of the new jewelry. That, in her case is an artistic construction of a building with elements of historic architecture. As in those children’s games where you use columns, capitals and pediments to build fancy palaces, Sarah chose elements of Art Deco and Viennese design of the early twentieth century to design her small precious works. In Vicenza, for example, Sarah has presented the Hidden Garden, a collection that includes four jewels of Persian Suite, inspired by the botanical illustrations of peach blossoms. One of the most beloved flowers in the East, not by chance, but there’s not mannerisms in her style.
