Ancient jewels in Turin. After two years of absence from the national antiques scene, Turin will host, from 6 to 14 April, the first exhibition dedicated to fine antiques within the prestigious Lingotto exhibition centre. The works are proposed by over 60 of the most renowned antique galleries in Italy and will be carefully selected to favor a high level of exhibition offering in this first edition of Torino Antiquaria. The 5 thousand paintings in the Lingotto exhibition pavilion will host furniture, sculptures, paintings, drawings, carpets, porcelain, books, silver and, note, jewels of great value, which stimulate and increase the love for quality ancient art. These are works certified by vetting, a scientific commission of scholars, one for each sector of art history, who assessed the quality of the pieces.
