Ingots in chains, for love. The Lingot d’Amour jewelry brand presents the Chain, Luce lines and the new Metal and Scrigno. As it is easy to deduce from the name, Lingot d’Amour offers jewels that have the shape of small ingots, in silver or gold.

The Chain women’s line consists of two necklaces and a bracelet, with large rectangular chain links with a thickness of 1 millimeter in 925 sterling silver: a reminder of lines and proportions to the design of the ingot. The Chain necklace is 98 cm long and enriched with 16 silver ingots. The Chain Choker necklace is shorter, 38cm, and has seven silver ingots. Finally, the Chain bracelet has three bars, also in silver.

The Luce line revisits some of the original Lingot d’Amour models, with the inclusion of a different and precious element: a light point: a small diamond is set inside the logo on the necklace, bracelet, in the full metal version only, earrings pendants, lobe, and ring. These two collections, Chain and Luce, are available in four color variants: silver, burnished silver, gold plated silver and rose gold plated silver.

The Metal line includes the semi-independent earrings with a smooth rectangular element in metallic paint, clearly inspired by the Eighties bijoux style, always in the silver, burnished silver, gold plated silver and rose gold plated silver variants. Scrigno, on the other hand, is the new bracelet characterized by a box closure developed on the design of the ingot, which combines five multicolored chains in pure 999 silver.

Fluo colors and new models arrive alongside the small gold or silver ingots. The Fluo mono-earring, as its name indicates, uses the model of the semi-independent earring in bright colors such as lime yellow, fuchsia and electric blue. It is made with the cataphoresis technique: an electrochemical surface treatment that applies a colored film on the silver surface, which protects against chemicals and guarantees resistance to corrosion and oxidation.

The single earring can also be worn single. The line with ingot in 999.9 pure gold (i.e. 24 carats) re-proposes the models of the original collection presented in autumn 2019: necklace, bracelet, in the full metal version and in the version with wrist band, single and double, in leather, the dangling, semi-independent or lobe earrings, the ring and cufflinks.

In addition to the silver color, they are available in rose gold, yellow and burnished gold plating versions. The first new choker-style pendulum necklace with a horizontal pendant ingot, also in the four color versions, the long necklace with two groups of placed ingots, silver, gold-plated and in the two-tone burnished silver version with rose gold ingots. According to them, however, “the correlation between gold and US rates is decreasing”. And again, “higher real rates have not always led to negative gold yields”. In short, from this point of view the price of gold should not undergo excessive changes. Although we must not forget that the cost of gold continues to rise: it has risen by 8.5% since the Federal Reserve, in December 2017, started raising interest rates. But what matters most: the dollar price against the euro or interest rates? Answer: the dollar. “But there are exceptions”.
Then there is the global instability factor. According to the WGC analysis, “a period of increased geopolitical risk, which has a potential impact on the global economy, could support gold even if the dollar strengthens. Therefore, we believe that investors benefit from the allocation of a strategic allocation to gold as a source of return, diversification, liquidity and portfolio impact “. Translated: the fear for the various wars and tensions (Syria, terrorism, tariff war with China) can attract gold investors even if US interest rates increase.
