Those diamonds are hardcore

Tough stuff for tough people, a little metallic, decidedly hipster. Because jewelry also travels the paths of new taste, for a young and trendy audience. This is the case of Philipp Plein, a brand born in Munich in 1998 from the creative mind of the designer of the same name and owner of the Swiss fashion house with headquarters in Amriswil, near Zurich. Today, in addition to jewellery, it also has clothing, accessories and interior design lines in its catalogue. Always linked by the playful and irreverent style: a luxury for those who are not afraid of staying outside the classic mold. If the designer is Swiss, however, the creation of the pieces is strictly Italian, with jewels that show an unusual use of precious materials, combined with original details.

Now Philipp Plein offers the new creations of the Hardcore Diamonds collection for spring/summer 2013. The pieces are already available in limited editions in flagship stores around the world. Hardcore Diamonds Collection is made up of necklaces, chains, bracelets, including over-sized ones, rings and cufflinks. All made in Italy. The subjects are imaginative: there are even skulls in crystal pavé, for those who love irony and luxury.

Philipp Plein has showrooms in Milan, Düsseldorf and Hong Kong. The jewels are distributed in boutiques and department stores in Monte Carlo, Vienna, Moscow, Kitzbühel, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Forte dei Marmi, Düsseldorf, Marbella, Baku, St. Petersburg, Milan, Seoul, Dubai and Macao.
