Lanvin focuses on maxi jewels. Jewels as big as shawls, as enveloping as scarves, as eye-catching as a fly on a white wall. And the comparison is not far-fetched: at the Paris fashion shows, the French brand also proposed insect-shaped brooches combined with the clothes from its collection. Maxi, of course. On the catwalk, the flavor of the twenties in the first dress, with large flounces and maxi jewels, then fifties cocktail dresses and a series of dresses with jewel applications from the animal world: dragonflies, butterflies, flowers and even insects. And then necklaces, belts and rings with the words Love, Help, Happy, Cool. Several famous guests were present at the fashion show, organized within the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, including Catherine Deneuve. Who knows if she will also wear Lanvin’s insects.
