Two unpublished images of the Quetzal ring by Sicis, presented at the last edition of Baselworld. It is a ring in 18k yellow gold, with diamonds, a “blue eagle eye” stone, i.e. cabochon pietersite, titanium and nano-mosaic pavé. For those who do not know, quetzals are a type of colorful bird found in the tropical forests and woods of Central America, such as Mexico and Guatemala. They are birds with multicolored feathers, like the Sicis ring. A unique piece whose production took 30 days, much longer than what was left in the window: as soon as it was exhibited it was purchased by a wealthy Russian lady.
