Gucci in spring with the Gucci Flora line. These are silver jewels. The Kering group brand, famous for its leather goods, but now also well-established in jewelry, is inspired by the Flora motif created by Gucci in the Sixties. The history of the design is curious: it begins in Milan in 1966, when Prince Rainier of Monaco accompanied his wife to the Gucci boutique. Rodolfo Gucci insisted that Princess Grace choose a gift to match the bamboo bag she had purchased. The Princess asked for a scarf. Considering that the Maison did not have one beautiful enough for this royal icon of style, Rodolfo commissioned illustrator Vittorio Accornero to create the most beautiful print he could imagine. Accornero returned with his creation: Flora, a multi-colored flower motif destined to become a classic. The new Gucci Flora jewels feature the motif with butterflies and flowers. The Flora motif was enhanced by the Aureco finish, which gives depth and character to the design. The new designs include a three-piece set with a new heart motif and a bracelet and earrings in the traditional Flora style. The necklace (45 cm), earrings and bracelet feature silver heart-shaped pendants with a small Flora butterfly and the Gucci logo. The pieces without the heart pendant are a Flora bracelet and matching hoop earrings (10 mm).
