Francesca Mo is getting married. Or rather, she is getting married at «Immagina. Il Matrimonio», an event curated by Angelo Garini scheduled at Villa Erba (Como) from 18 to 19 October 2014. For the occasion, Francesca Mo will present variations of her jewellery collections, inspired by the wedding event. On display at Villa Erba will be the Intrecci collections from the Loom and Twist series, which combine square shapes in silver or gold that frame fabrics and plays of threads. Thinking of the bride and groom, Francesca Mo’s Intrecci are embellished with fabrics from ancient wedding dresses, lace and white threads, fragments of morning suits and ties, creating elegant earrings and rings for the bride, and unique cufflinks for the grooms. Square is a collection of square-shaped wedding rings in gold, silver and bronze. Finally, inspired by the Indian wedding tradition, a new piece is presented: Blink, a thumb ring in silver and bronze with a mirror.
