It is difficult to invent something new in jewelry. And here, then, you can see the result of the desire to be original: the necklace most uncomfortable in the world. The idea is the French designer Oleksandra Gerasymchuk, who worked with Florent Gros on a collection certainly unusual. Earrings that look like braces, necklaces that look like irons to straighten the bones and teeth, even the model which wears them in the picture does not look very well. It is not hard to see why. More difficult to understand, however, why the quest for originality is transformed into something of not wearable. Of course, one could argue that in this way they will be noted. But it hardly this jewelry will be bought, apart from a few passionate of sadomasochistic practices. G.N.
