Jewelry returns to the Il Ponte auction house in Milan. For the first time, the company’s Jewelry Department is adding a second auction—scheduled for October 7 and 8, 2026—to its traditional November event. The catalog features a diverse array of jewelry, including pieces crafted from coral and jade—a selection that stands apart from the standard offerings of international jewelry houses. There are creations where precious materials take on a distinctively sculptural quality, such as drop earrings by Gunther Krauss (estimated at €2,200–€3,500) and long earrings featuring two pairs of interchangeable pendants (€8,500–€12,000). Prestigious international Maisons are also represented, including a Cartier choker (€10,000–€20,000)—originally designed to convert into a *devant-de-corsage*—as well as a chased yellow gold necklace by Buccellati (€14,000–€18,000) and a yellow gold curb-link necklace by Bulgari (€15,000–€20,000).
A section of particular interest is dedicated to Venetian tradition, represented by Codognato and Nardi—houses whose identities have become unmistakable hallmarks of Italian jewelry. Iconic brooches from the *moretto* and *memento mori* series bear witness to this legacy. The auction also features names from contemporary Italian jewelry, such as Vhernier, Sabbadini, and Pomellato. A public viewing will be held on October 2, 3, and 4 at the premises at Via Pontaccio 12, Milan.
