These elements inspired Carlo Izzo’s *Tesori del Mare* (Treasures of the Sea) collection. In Syracuse—the birthplace of Archimedes and a former capital of the Byzantine Empire—Carlo Izzo and his family have been creating wearable jewelry-sculptures since 1984, hand-forged using traditional Sicilian techniques. He works with materials such as gold, gemstones, and coral. His pieces draw inspiration from the city’s Baroque architecture and the wonders of the seabed. These creations are admired by many celebrities and continue to be crafted not only by the founder but also by his children, Simone and Sarah Izzo, who carry on their father’s legacy.
The *Tesori del Mare* collection exemplifies Carlo Izzo’s artistry. These sculptural pieces are inspired by waves, sea foam, seashells, and marine life. Necklaces, earrings, and rings are crafted using coral, pearls, and gemstones—such as large aquamarines—that infuse the jewelry with the colors and allure of the sea.
