The duo of Yvone and Christa, at VicenzaOro January has designed a new collection. It is dedicated to a flower rare and threatened from extinction: the edelweiss. The Edelweiss line is inspired by the simplicity of nature, but perhaps also to the delicate balance that is established in the relationship with the man, or in this case, with the woman. The technique is always the one tested by the brand led by the two Swedish designers transplanted to New York: the subtle and complex silver filigree with which are woven jewelry. But, in this case, there is with a variant in addition: the collar necklace, a mini silver filigree sculpture paired with a leather ribbon. The silver embroidery is in some cases combined with pearls or colored crystals, pastel tones. A jewel that has an air a little ‘vintage, to be combined with a romantic outfits. Giulia Netrese
