Fare gioielli è un arte, così non stupisce che Cartier abbia dedicato spazio ed energie ai talenti della pittura e della scultura. Sono passati 30 anni dal 20 ottobre 1984, quando la maison francese ha inaugurato la Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain. La Fondation Cartier ha ospitato un centinaio di esposizioni e commissionato più di 800 opere. Ora che taglia il traguardo del terzo decennio, celebra l’anniversario con Mémoires Vives, una kermesse che dal 10 maggio si protrarrà fino al 21 settembre. Mémoires Vives, cioè ricordi vivi, comprende pittura, design, fotografia, film, arte, folk, video, scultura, musica, performance: una sintesi delle attività di questi 30 anni. La mostra ripercorrerà la storia della Fondation attraverso l’esposizione dei pezzi particolarmente significativi che fanno parte della Collezione permanente. G.N.
