The high jewelery of a new star: the Belgian designer Tatiana Verstraeten ♦ ︎
A star was born. Indeed, she was a star even before being born: Tatiana Verstraeten created a Maison from the top, from Place Vendôme, in Paris. And she debuted during Couture Week, with the ambition to rise higher and higher. For now she has succeeded. Her jewels, in fact, show a quality and creativity that is on a par with that of the most famous high jewelery brands.

Born in Belgium into a family of painters for three generations, Tatiana Verstraeten was a designer at Chanel Studio and designed jewelry for Karl Lagerfeld before launching into the glittering world of fine jewelry. She produces all its jewels in France, uses gold and diamonds of ethical origin. Her style is delicate, but also dense, with a workmanship that recalls embroidery and gives lightness to the jewel. Certain earrings with long fringes evoke the thirties. For example, those in leather each piece is composed of a group of 21 solitary diamonds and five pearls, with fringes composed of 185 pearls and 25 diamonds set on a gold chain.
