A gallery in London that is specializes in artist’s jewels: the Louisa Guinness Gallery. Space is the first dedicated exclusively to jewelery designed by names such as Anish Kapoor, Sophia Vari, Claude Lalanne and Mariko Mori, in addition to the last century masters such as Picasso, Calder, Man Ray and Fontana. For example, in case you are passing through London (or maybe you live there) know that until April 22 there are showcasing the jewels of Ron Arad. The exhibition is called Rocks! and just look at the collection of the artist, architect and designer to understand why. They are unique works or limited editions: necklaces, bracelets and earrings are made of silicon, laser sintered polyamide, quartz, gold and silver. They look like glass, but they are much simpler to handle or (maybe) to wear. Certainly not go unnoticed. Despite the appearance of the jewelry, silicon is soft and flexible to the touch: looks sharp glass, but instead it is not. Wear a necklace or bracelet has a strange effect and, above all, attracts attention (worried) of who encountered. But in the case, reassure them: the jewels are amazing, but absolutely harmless.
