What better occasion than the Salone del Mobile in Milan to present a collection designed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas? Created by the achistar together with his wife for Sicis, the Gypsy Collection was one of the novelties of Baselworld of the Ravenna-based company, which for three years now has diversified its business by taking up one of the oldest and most elaborate jewelry production techniques: micro Venetian enamel rods obtained by fusion at 1,200 degrees of nine main colors, which when mixed give life to an infinite number of different shades. The micro tiles set by hand in 18-karat gold, have the shape of Tuareg crosses, tribal masks, horns and chili peppers, used as charms or elements of necklaces and bracelets. The highlight, however, is Thea, a chain with round links in satin-finished silver and 10 carats of diamonds. All objects on display in via della Spiga in Milan, in the Sicis store dedicated only to jewelry, the third after Istanbul and Paris. But not the last: within the year there will be the inauguration of a single-brand store in New York.
