Ring Party is back, the ring party. In Treviso between Saturday 8th and Sunday 16th June the historic Ca’ De Ricchi palace will host the event dedicated to the most worn (and symbolic) jewels. A ring can in fact be an ornament, but also the sign of a union, or of a power, of a role. And also a work of art, a small sculpture. The ring can be precious and crafted with accuracy, but also be interpreted in personal shapes and made with different materials. There will be 64 rings on display: the one in Treviso is one of the events organized by AGC, the Contemporary Jewelery Association, which deals with enhancing and spreading the culture of jewellery. Participating in the exhibition will be, among others, the designer Francesca Mo, who is a member of AGC, with the lei Frame di lei ring, inspired by the theme of the book, where bronze and paper come together to create a miniature. The ring is part of a collection designed for the exhibition dedicated to the book organized at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan Intorno al libro. Inauguration of the Ring Party at 6pm on Saturday 8th with a talk by Maria Luisa Frisa, director of the Fashion Design Course.
