A Chimera for Calgaro. The jewelry company specializing in spun gold and silver, founded only about ten years ago, changes hands. Massimo Anselmi and his Calgaro have in fact purchased the Vicenza brand. In short, Arezzo buys Vicenza, together with its patents. The (obvious) objective is to relaunch the brand, maintaining production in Italy and Monica Fin as creative director. The next step will be to aim for export. Not only Europe, but also Russia and Central Asia, the Middle East and China. Chimera is only the latest coup by the group led by Anselmi: the company already controls the Ventipuntodieci, Bacio, Reeve and Jumper’s brands and 47% of the Fausto Sarli maison. Chimera, in turn, is organized into two divisions: Glamor and Gold. Calgaro has been active for about thirty years and produces accessories and jewelery for Italian and French high fashion. It has a turnover of 18 million euros.
