Zoccai gallops towards the East

According to Chinese astrology, this is the year of the horse and those born in 2014 will have a good character combined with great ability to manage money. In Western fairy tales, however, the horse is a symbol of innocence, while in the Arab world the main qualities are beauty and speed in running. Certainly, the grace of these animals has inspired artists from all over the world over the centuries. Even in the Vicenza area, where Zoccai chose the horse to celebrate 175 years of activity in the jewelry sector. A collection of limited edition pens that are, in reality, a jewel. The collection is called Horse, which in the details hand-engraved directly on silver or 18-karat yellow gold with diamonds, depicts a mane or a horseshoe. The charm of the East is also found in the new Damasco collection designed by Monica Zoccai: the carved mother-of-pearl recalls the designs of the city’s architecture and the geometric patterns of mosques. Even in color, a bright white, enhanced by pink gold. Selected stones such as sodalite and aquamarine in rounded and irregular shapes, instead represent the shades of the sky in the Nuvole collection.
