There is the gold necklace designed for Liz Taylor by Van Cleef & Arpels. There is a lounge for high-end jewelry purchases. There is a review of historic pieces. And there is also room for the latest collections: in Milan, in via Monte Napoleone 10, the new boutique of the maison that is located in Place Vendôme, Paris, has opened. A 350 square meter flagship store that already on the first day of opening saw the first customers (Chinese and Arab) knocking on the glass doors. Cream carpeting, sober and elegant furnishings, bouquets of flowers and crystal chandeliers: the store is not a simple jewelry boutique. It is also a small museum that, on the lower floor, displays some of the masterpieces signed Van Cleef & Arpels, such as the Heritage collection and special pieces that have been repurchased by the maison specifically to be exhibited and admired. A testimony of goldsmith virtuosity, which continues with new productions. Obviously, in fact, other display cases also house the most recent collections, such as Alhambra, malachite and diamonds, revisited for the occasion.
