Christie’s Jewellery Sales Boom. The auction house reports a record result for sales worldwide: in 2013 it reached 678 million dollars (520 million euros), the highest result ever achieved for the jewellery sector. The balance represents a 20% increase compared to 2012 and beats its previous highest record of 600 million dollars set in 2011, which included the Elizabeth Taylor Collection.
