A diamond wedding dress

A cascade of diamonds, pearls and silk worth half a million euros: this is how a Russian bride has decided to make her wedding day even more unforgettable, when she will wear what is perhaps the most expensive wedding dress in the world. For the creation of the wedding dress, the young lady chose Made in Italy and had it made in Caserta by the seamstresses of the Signore atelier: five of them spent 600 hours of work embroidering the dress and sewing iridescent pearls, crystals and precious stones of various sizes, which slope from the bust towards the tail, making the train shine too. The dress is in 1930s style, made of Chantilly lace and silk tulle and was made to order. For the, we imagine not a few, brides who cannot afford it, it will parade on Thursday evening from 8 pm on the catwalk of Tuttosposi, the fair dedicated to everything related to wedding planning, which is underway at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples. Then the dress will fly to Russia. Yes, because the bride is not satisfied and once she receives the dress she will take it to her trusted jeweler to have twenty diamonds applied that she personally chose, perhaps with the fear of going unnoticed. A cascade of diamonds, in short, worthy of Ian Fleming’s novel that will make the dress even more precious. The dress was in fact paid for 350,000 euros but with the application of the diamonds its value will rise to the record figure of half a million euros. The only curiosity remains for the fate of the dress at the end of the wedding: if the lady decides to put it in the usual trunk, a surveillance service will be needed just for the attic.
